The Ido lamp is a tribute to culture, craftsmanship, and the philosophy of Mingei, inspired by Soetsu Yanagi. Its form draws inspiration from the Ido tea bowls, crafted by Japanese tea masters to elevate humble rituals into conscious, intentional acts.
Each lamp is handmade, embracing natural materials, functionality, and individuality. No two lamps are alike—each has its own identity, formed through a harmonious process where the materials and design shape themselves. The washi paper’s unique texture and light variation highlight its organic beauty, emanating a warm, humble glow in any space.
